National Lockdown Restrictions Update
With the lifting of lockdown restrictions, as advised by the government, we wanted to update you on the safety measures, which will be remaining in the hotel after the 20th of July.
We understand that for many of you, a return to ‘normal’ is a concern.
We want all our customers to feel safe and confident when using our facilities, so please see below a continuation of our safety measures.
If you have any concerns or would like to talk through anything in particular, then please do not hesitate to contact our team.
On arrival there will be a number of options for the way you arrive, check in and depart to keep everyone safe.
- Guests that have booked online can pre-check in by signing their registration form which will be sent via email prior to arrival. Keys will be ready to collect at reception.
- We encourage contactless payment where possible, with prepayment for hotel guests prior to arrival.
- We ask that guests try and pre-book their dining arrangements in advance. This can be done when making your booking, checking in online or on arrival at reception.
- Reception staff will be safely positioned behind a perspex screen wearing a face mask with plenty supply of hand sanitiser. Check in will be as normal but please respect social distancing if there is a queue.
- Contactless check out, key drop .
- Disposable facemarks will be available at reception .
All accommodation at Broom Hall is cleaned to the highest possible standard, but additional attention will be paid to certain areas, in line with our new housekeeping procedures.
- We have removed all non-essential items from rooms, if you require additional pillows, toiletries or pen and paper please ask the reception team.
- We have implemented a 7 high-touch deep clean points that housekeeping will be very strict on. This includes rigorous detail to door handles, bathroom surfaces, TV controls and telephone, lamps and switches, cupboard and draw handles, hard surfaces and tea and coffee making facilities.
- All bedlinen is laundered by a professional laundry company, returned to us sealed and ready to use.
- You can choose not to have your room serviced. If you do need fresh towels or additional tea/coffee please ask reception who will leave items outside your door.
Dining
We want all our guests to feel safe and enjoy their dining experience here at Broom Hall.
Therefore, we will continue with the following measures and new dining options.
- We encourage guests to scan our QR code on arrival for the track and trace app.
- We will be adhering to social distancing by placing all our tables 1 metre apart, whilst keeping all rooms well ventilated by opening all windows and doors when possible.
- Where possible, we would encourage guests to kindly: continue wearing a face-covering in our public areas and before being seated at a table.
- We have a large garden and would encourage you to enjoy alfresco dining when possible.
- All tables, chairs and menus will be sanitised after every use.
- Please book a time for your breakfast and if possible pre-order. We have removed the continental buffet, but this can be ordered through our waiting team.
- Room service can be ordered for breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea, this will be delivered outside your room only.
Staff, Partners & additional Information
Our team have all been trained in new ways of working in order to keep themselves and everyone who visits Broom Hall safe.
- Temperature checks will be given to all staff before they start their shift.
- All our Risk Assessments and training are in line with the most up to date government guidance.
- All our staff members will be wearing PPE.
- We are working alongside some trusted chemical providers recommended by WHO which we will use site wide.
- We’re also making sure that partners and suppliers own Risk Assessments and practices dovetail with our own.
- Hand sanitising stations will be available through the building.
- Our public areas will be cleaned more frequently paying extra attention to touch points.
- All our procedures will be constantly under review as we follow the government guidelines and uk hospitality recommendations.
