We have a choice of two dining experiences, the Lime Tree Restaurant or more informal Ivy Room and Bar.

Lime tree restaurant

Can seat up to 35, with pleasant views over the garden from the dual aspect windows and an open fire which can be enjoyed in the winter months. 
Our Head Chef Nick and his team regularly change the evening menu with new and interesting dishes, using the freshest, local ingredients they can find. 

The Lime Tree Restaurant is open from 18.30 to 20.30 Monday to Saturday and our Traditional Sunday Roast Menu is available between 12 noon and 2pm, and for reservations between 6.30pm and 7.15pm every Sunday.

A three course restaurant meal including coffee and home made truffle is from £27

The Ivy room and bar

Homemade hot and cold bar meals are served from Tuesday to Saturday 12 noon to 2pm and Monday to Saturday 6.30pm to 8.30pm in the Ivy Room, Rose Room Bar or Terrace.

A wide choice is available on our Bar Menu including Light Bites and a daily selection of homemade desserts.

Evening and lunch

Menu’s are served daily Monday to Saturday 12.00pm till 2.00pm, and 6.30pm till 8.30pm.

We are proud to say all our main courses are cooked fresh to order using local suppliers and ingredients where we can.

Afternoon and cream teas

We serve Afternoon Teas Monday to Sunday 10.00am till 6.00pm, in either our conservatory or restaurant overlooking the gardens.

Bookings for Afternoon Tea must be made 24hrs in advance.

Prosecco 200ml bottles are available to purchase at £6.40 per bottle.

Cream Tea’s served Monday to Sunday All Day! Cream tea for two which includes a Homemade scone with fresh cream and jam and a pot of tea or coffee for £4.40 pp.

Cream Tea and Afternoon Tea Vouchers are available to buy at reception.

Sunday Lunch

Sunday lunches are served in our Swallowtails Restaurant or conservatory, 12.00pm till 2.00pm and 6.30pm to 7.15pm, bookings are required.

Our traditional Sunday lunch menu changes seasonally.

Large groups for a private functions can be accommodated in our Chestnut function room. We have highchairs available for small children.
